New Dutch Ambassador to Pakistan arrives in Islamabad to assume office
The new Dutch Ambassador to Pakistan Ardi Stoios-braken has assumed office today on 7 September 2017.
She succeeded Jeannette Seppen as the new Dutch Ambassador to Pakistan.
Her Excellency Ms. Ardi Stoios-braken looks forward to further strengthening relations between Pakistan and the Netherlands.
The Netherlands is looking forward to enhancing its cooperation with Pakistan through collaboration and partnership in several sectors.
Water, agriculture, logistics and energy are the four main areas of potential cooperation between both countries.
“Netherlands is the fifth largest trading country in the world, but its bilateral trade with Pakistan is around $900 million which is way below the potential of both countries.
The outgoing ambassador Ms. Jeannette Seppen resolved to increase bilateral trade to at least $1 billion and urged for efforts to improve two-way trade.
