Pakistan has topped the list of world’s leading adventure travel destination by The British Backpacker Society, an adventure travel organization.
The British Backpacker Society announced Pakistan as the clear winner after having ranking top 20 adventure travel countries throughout the course of the year.
“Pakistan is the clear winner of the British Backpacker Society’s top 20 adventure travel destinations 2018 and we encourage keen travellers to book a trip now” the backpackers shared on social media.
The group of British Backpacker Society, including Samuel Joynson and Adam Sloper, have visited over a hundred countries and visited Pakistan in the summer of 2016.

The adventurists described Pakistan as “one of the friendliest countries on earth with mountain scenery that is beyond anyone’s wildest imagination.”
British Backpacker Society, an adventure travel organization with thousands of followers online, inspires people to travel to seldom visited destinations in the developing world and offers unique perspectives on their people, politics and culture.
Joynson, 26, and Sloper, 25, both from southern England, visited Pakistan in the summer of 2016, spending a few days in Lahore, Rawalpindi and Islamabad, from where they travelled through the Kaghan valley to Naran, later heading to Babusar Top to Gilgit. They completed their journey in the tranquil Hunza Valley, where they climbed to the top of the Hon Pass (4,257m) from Karimabad.
“The view from the Hon Pass was indeed the greatest natural sight that either of us has ever seen, and we would recommend it to anyone with a keen interest in mountaineering” Samuel said.
“Head north to the astonishing peaks of the Karakoram along the unforgettable Karakoram Highway. It is beautiful, exciting and culturally interesting, and travellers are rewarded at the journey’s end-point with perhaps the most beautiful natural sight on earth, the Hunza Valley.”
The young British travellers encourage tourists to take the Karakoram Highway from Islamabad to the Pakistan-China border on the Khunjerab Pass as it is “the world’s greatest road-trip.”
At the end of their journey, they visited idyllic Hunza Valley, where they climbed to the top of the Hon Pass (4257m) from Karimabad.
Samuel Joynson said adventure travel is at its best when it changes your perceptions and “I have never experienced this more than during my two weeks in Pakistan”.
He further said Travel in Pakistan is an experience that just keeps surprising, whether it is gazing at the astonishing peaks of the Karakoram, dining in the delicious back-street restaurants of Rawalpindi.
The other member Adam Sloper said: “I would advise all prospective visitors to prepare to smile for the camera and get ready to enjoy some of the best hospitality on earth.”
The British Backpacker Society will be returning to Pakistan in 2018 to travel to Skardu and the base camp at the K2 peak.
