PappaRoti launches first outlet at Centaurus Mall

Father of all Buns comes to Islamabad

PappaRoti, an international food chain known for their delicious buns and variety of teas, have now brought their unique snacks for the people of Islamabad. The launch of new outlet of PappaRoti at Centaurus Mall was a pleasant event where the visitors enjoyed the café’s signature buns with flavoured tea. At the event, model Natty and few others welcomed the guests while the event was arranged by Rezz PR and Events.

With the tagline – Father of all Buns – the new eatery serves freshly-baked buns that have a crisp, thin crust topped with a mild coffee-caramel coating and a butter-filled centre that surprised many a foodies at the launch. The signature buns are made with a special recipe that contains flour and omega-3 enriched eggs. “The magic begins from the moment you take a first bite of the crispy outer layer of the bun which is derived from a creamy concoction,” said Usman Sakrani, COO of Zahdan Retail.

The café offers an appealing array of food and 30 different frothy beverages, including eight flavours of tea, which “are exquisite in taste”. A single bun is priced at Rs. 200, while a cup of tea starts at Rs. 125. “We are a nation of tea lovers after all. Even though coffee consumption has increased in the country but even today our breakfast is not complete without tea and whenever we get a headache we tend to think it is because we skipped that regular cup of tea” said Usman Sakrani talking to Pakistan Observer.

After PappaRoti’s opening in Karachi, the café has expanded its operations to introduce a second outlet in Islamabad to cater to growing demand for its unique offerings. “Launch of PappaRoti has brought true Asian bun experience in Pakistan. After its huge success in Karachi, PappaRoti has now been brought to Islamabad and would soon open in Lahore too” told Murtaza Hashwani, CEO of Zahdan Group.2

First launched in Malaysia in 2003, the brand boasts a decade-long success story and has a presence all over the world, with 400 outlets and kiosks across Malaysia, China, Vietnam, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, India, Indonesia, Bangladesh, United Kingdom, Australia and now in Pakistan. PappaRoti has been brought here by the Zahdan Group. Papparoti has successfully developed a unique and single recipe that surpasses cultural diversity and appeals to an international audiences from China to Dubai to Australia.
