Bahria Town to build master-plan mixed-use community in Dubai South
Pakistan’s Bahria Town Holding and Dubai South announced a joint venture to develop a master-planned gated community in the Golf District near Al Maktoum International Airport.
The collaboration, unveiled during a formal signing ceremony, marks a significant step toward addressing the growing demand for luxury residential and commercial spaces in Dubai.
The sprawling project will cover over 20 million square feet, featuring a mix of villas, townhouses, and apartments. Designed to be self-sustaining, the community will include schools, healthcare facilities, retail outlets, mosques, and entertainment centers, complemented by green spaces, water streams, iconic monuments, and wide boulevards.
Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation and Dubai South, emphasized the project’s alignment with Dubai South’s vision of attracting global investors and supporting the UAE government’s goal of housing one million residents in the area.
Malik Riaz Hussain, Founder of Bahria Town, highlighted the company’s commitment to replicating its large-scale development expertise, drawing on its successful projects across Pakistan.
