The central committee collected and examined all witness accounts before making the call at the 11th hour
Pakistan Ruet-e-Hilal Committee announced that the moon for Shawal has been sighted and Eid-ul-Fitr will take place on May 13th, 2021. The decision came after long deliberations over the witness accounts of moon sighting received from various parts of the country. The meeting of the central committee lasted for nearly six hours. After the long delay, many people expected that Eid may take place Friday.
