Pakistan, Turkey and Palestine foreign ministers depart together for UNGA summit

Pakistan and Turkey to raise voice for Palestinians at UNGA session in New York

Foreign Ministers of Pakistan, Turkey and Palestine departed together from Ankara for New York on May 19 to participate in the UNGA meeting on Palestine.

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Qureshi together with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki departed for New York to jointly raise voices for the people of Palestine facing aggression and war crimes by Israel.

UNGA session on Palestine issue will be held on May 20.

Pakistani foreign minister also held a bilateral meeting with his Palestinian counterpart before leaving for the UN session.

In Ankara, FM Qureshi discussed the Palestine issue in detail with his Turkish counterpart and joint efforts to protect Palestinians from Israeli atrocities and bombardment.
