Chery Q EV launched in Pakistan at Rs 5.55 million

Chery Q electric hatchback comes with a limited-time complimentary 7 kW home charger

Chery Master Pakistan has officially launched the all-electric Chery Q at the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) 2026, with an introductory ex-factory price of Rs5.554 million.

The company is also offering a 7 kW home charger worth Rs100,000 free of charge for a limited period, adding a home-charging option to the launch package.

The Chery Q, previously referred to as the QQ3 in pre-launch material, revives the company’s QQ nameplate, which debuted in 2002 as an 800cc micro-hatchback.

The Pakistan launch comes as Chery expands its electric vehicle lineup in the country, with the Q positioned as an urban-focused battery electric vehicle.

Battery, range and performance

The Chery Q uses a 42.7 kWh battery paired with a rear-mounted electric motor producing 121 hp (90 kW) and 111 Nm of torque.

The vehicle has rear-wheel drive and a claimed range of up to 400 km under the NEDC testing cycle. The company has also highlighted energy efficiency of up to 9.4 km/kWh. New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) is standardized test used to assess a vehicle’s emissions and fuel economy or electric consumption.

The Q measures 4,195 mm in length, 1,811 mm in width and 1,568 mm in height, with a 2,700 mm wheelbase.

Technology and safety

The Q comes with a 15.6-inch 2.5K infotainment display and an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster. Connectivity features include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while a 50W wireless charging system is also available.

The vehicle’s driver-assistance package includes 21 Level 2 ADAS functions, along with a 540-degree HD camera and automatic parking.

Safety equipment includes six airbags. Chery’s Pakistan specifications also list an 82% high-strength steel body-in-white and IP68 dust and water resistance.

Other features include mobile-app controls, voice commands and three driving modes. The Q also supports 6.6 kW vehicle-to-load (V2L), allowing the vehicle’s battery to supply power to compatible external equipment.

Pricing, booking and home charging

The Q is currently being offered in the Premium variant at a limited introductory ex-factory price of Rs5.554 million.

The pre-launch booking amount was set at Rs1.5 million, while the limited-time launch offer includes a 7 kW home charger valued at Rs100,000.

Chery has emphasized home charging and rooftop solar as part of its ownership proposition. The company previously estimated that an EV charged using home solar could have substantially lower annual energy costs than a conventional petrol vehicle. Such savings, however, depend on electricity tariffs, solar generation, annual mileage and charging patterns.

The Chery Q therefore enters Pakistan’s expanding EV market with a combination of a relatively compact footprint, rear-wheel drive, a 42.7 kWh battery and a broad technology and driver-assistance package.
