CPEC chairman announces the launch of three-month CPEC internship for Pakistani youth
China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Authority Chairman Lieutenant General (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa announced the launch of a three-month CPEC internship.
The internship has been announced in the spirit of youth empowerment to offer the youth of Pakistan an opportunity under the CPEC projects to develop skills and experiences that would allow Pakistan to grow and prosper in the future.
He said the CPEC internship is an inclusive, national project, focusing on human and social development and will involve 60 percent of youth.
How to apply for CPEC internship?
CPEC Internship Program is a special outreach program and CPEC Authority encouraged youth from religious, ethnic or racial minority including women from diverse areas of the country to apply.
The program offers Pakistan’s talented youth to help develop skills and experience that would allow Pakistan to grow and prosper in the future.
The application invites youth under 30 years of age with a bachelor’s degree in any discipline and with no experience necessary to apply. The only requirement is highly motivated and curious individuals with good research, writing and digital media skills.
Recruitment of 100 interns will be made and they will be offered monthly stipend with allocation to specific industries or sectors. The internship period is from October 2020 – December 2020.
