Features of Google Wallet in Pakistan
Secure, Contactless Payments: Google Wallet allows users to make secure, encrypted payments directly from their smartphones. Whether shopping online, in-app, or in-store, users can complete their transactions seamlessly and without the need for physical cards. Local online merchants, including Onic, Gul Ahmed, Sana Safinaz, J., and KE, will also be available through PayFast’s integration with Google Pay.
Travel Made Easy: Travelers can store boarding passes, such as those from Batik Air and Thai Airways, in Google Wallet. The app provides real-time notifications about gate changes or flight delays, ensuring a smooth travel experience. Moreover, users can also save bus, train, and event tickets through Bookme.pk and Sastaticket.pk integrations.
Privacy and Security: Google Wallet prioritizes user security with tokenization technology. Each transaction uses a device-specific token and a dynamic security code that changes with every transaction, ensuring safe payments. Additionally, the app requires verification from the bank before a card can be added, and the device’s screen lock ensures that only the user has access.
