He emphasized that the service would allow Pakistanis to tap-and-pay in stores, make online purchases, and access their boarding passes while traveling, all through their Android phones or Wear OS devices.

How to use Google Wallet in Pakistan

1. Download the App: Get Google Wallet from the Google Play Store.
   
2. Set Up Your Card: If you have a compatible card saved to your Google account, it will appear automatically. If not, tap “Add a card,” enter your details, and complete the verification.
   
3. Start Paying: Once set up, make secure, contactless payments with your Android phone or Wear OS device at supported merchants. Google Wallet also works for online and in-app purchases.

Important Information:

• To make contactless payments, your Android phone must have Near Field Communication (NFC).
• Your bank determines which of their cards can be used with Google Wallet, and they may restrict mobile payments for some cards. You can check the supported banks and countries in the app settings or below.
• You can make payments with Google Wallet via your smartphone or smartwatch wherever Google Pay is accepted.

Which banks and cards support payments with Google Wallet in Pakistan?

From March 12, 2025, cardholders of the following listed Pakistani banks will be able to add their cards to Google Wallet and pay with their Android phones or Wear OS devices — wherever contactless payments are accepted. Payment cards from Google Wallet can be used to pay online or in-app at merchants.
