Latest revelations further expose India and vindicate Pakistan: Pakistan FO
Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan vowed that the government “will continue to expose India’s belligerent designs towards Pakistan and Modi government’s fascism.”
He urged that the international community must stop India from its reckless, militarist agenda before the Modi government’s brinkmanship pushes the region into a conflict it cannot control. The documents reveal “how actions of India’s reckless regime driven by considerations of domestic politics are gravely imperiling regional peace and security” the Pakistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
The warning from the premier came after WhatsApp chats of India’s Republic TV chief editor Arnab Goswami that went viral in which he discussed New Delhi’s smear campaign against Islamabad. The documents containing WhatsApp conversations between Partho Dasputa, the former CEO of BARC, is part of a 3,400-page TRP-scam charge sheet filed by Mumbai Police.
“Latest revelations from the communication of an Indian journalist, known for his warmongering, reveal the unholy nexus between the Modi government and Indian media that led to dangerous military adventurism to win an election in utter disregard for the consequences of destabilizing the entire region,” Pakistani prime minister sad.
“Pakistan averted a larger crisis by a responsible, measured response to Balakot. Yet, the Modi government continues to turn India into a rogue state” he said in a tweet.
Indian state sponsored terrorism in Pakistan
India’s state sponsored terrorism in Pakistan, its abuses in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, and a recent 15-year Indian global disinformation campaign against us all stand exposed. “Now India’s own media has revealed the dirty nexus that is pushing our nuclearized region to the brink of a conflict it cannot afford”, PM Khan said.
Indian disinformation campaign
In recent months, Pakistan has shared with the world community the irrefutable evidence of India’s state sponsorship of terrorism in Pakistan as well as anti-Pakistan disinformation campaign globally.
“The transcripts included in the Mumbai police charge-sheet against the Republic TV anchor in the TRP case have further exposed India’s sinister designs and vindicated Pakistan’s long-held position”, Pakistan Foreign Office said.
India killed its own 40 Indian soldiers to win polls
Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s conspiracy has been exposed after the Indian government killed 40 of its own soldiers by staging a Pulwama attack drama to justify aggression against Pakistan and to win the elections.
False-flag, hyper-nationalism, surgical strike to win votes
The latest revelations further confirm what Pakistan has consistently pointed out: “The BJP government stages ‘false flag’ operation; maligns Pakistan with terrorism-related allegations; stokes hyper-nationalism in the country; claims to have launched so-called ‘surgical strike’; and then deviously manipulates national sentiment in its bid to win elections. The pattern is unmistakable, and has been repeated to suit the RSS-BJP regime’s electoral calculations” the FO statement said.
Pakistan had outrightly rejected India’s malicious propaganda and highlighted that the “biggest beneficiary of the Pulwama attack in February 2019 was the BJP government, as it secured a landslide victory in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections” and the transcripts are further evidence of how the ‘false flag’ operation was orchestrated to realize massive electoral success.
Nexus of Modi regime and Indian media
The transcripts also revealed the “unholy nexus between the ‘Hindutva’ regime and its cronies in the Indian media”. It shows how the rights and freedoms of Indian citizens and democratic values in Indian society are being seriously jeopardized through cynical manipulation.
“Pakistan will continue to counter Indian falsehoods with truth and act firmly and responsibly in the face of India’s provocations”, the FO said, urging the international community to take full cognizance of the situation and hold India accountable for its actions vitiating the regional environment and endangering peace and security in South Asia.
