Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) is all set to finally launch Islamabad City Tour bus service from January 10 as all arrangements have been made for the grand opening of the tourist transport services, PTDC Managing Director, Ch. Abdul Ghafoor Khan said.

The Governor of Punjab Malik Mohammad Rafiq Rajwana will inaugurate the tourist service while Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif is expected to attend the ceremony as the chief guest.

A long fleet of vehicles along with the buses of Islamabad City Tour would leave Islamabad from Flashman Hotel after the inauguration by the Punjab governor.

“Nominal fare for travelling in ICT bus has been fixed which will enable the people to utilise its services,” Khan added.

The official said that artists have painted the buses with national flags and monuments.

The buses will cover the following prominent tour points among others:

  • Faisal Mosque
  • Shakarparian
  • Islamabad Zoo
  • Lok Versa
  • Daman e Koh
  • F9 Park
  • Lakeview Park
  • Ayub Park
  • Taxila Museum

The details on timing, fare and how to book the ride will be shared once the buses start operating.
