IWG expands Hybrid Workspaces in Pakistan with new Karachi facility

In response to Pakistan’s increasing demand for adaptable and flexible work environments, the world’s leading provider of hybrid working solutions, International Workplace Group (IWG), has announced the upcoming launch of its new flexible workspace, Regus The Center, Karachi, slated to open in June 2025.

The 1,100-square-meter facility, strategically located in Karachi, is part of IWG’s global expansion initiative, as the company adds over 465 new locations globally in early 2024 alone.

As businesses around the world embrace hybrid work models, the new Karachi workspace will offer a variety of office options tailored to different needs. These include private offices, meeting rooms, co-working spaces, and creative work areas.

The facility will cater to a broad spectrum of industries, from technology and finance to media, e-commerce, consulting, and education. IWG’s innovative Design Your Own Office service will also be available, allowing companies to create personalized workspaces suited to their specific requirements.

The Karachi launch aligns with Pakistan’s growing interest in the 15-minute city concept, which promotes working closer to home to reduce commute times and improve work-life balance. As the hybrid work model gains momentum, businesses in Pakistan are increasingly seeking cost-effective, flexible office solutions to meet evolving demands.

Strategic Partnership for Growth

The new Regus Center is being launched through a partnership with JS Investments Limited, one of Pakistan’s leading investment firms. This collaboration represents a powerful blend of real estate expertise and innovative workplace solutions. JS Investments, which manages the JS Rental REIT Fund, recognizes the transformative potential of hybrid workspaces in shaping the future of work in Pakistan.

Iffat Mankani, CEO of JS Investments Limited, emphasized the significance of the partnership: “As Pakistan’s economic hub, Karachi is witnessing increasing demand for adaptable workspaces. This collaboration with IWG reflects our commitment to fostering business growth by offering premium, flexible office solutions.”

Hybrid Work: A New Era for Business

The launch of Regus The Center also underscores IWG’s larger mission to tap into the global surge in demand for hybrid work solutions. By 2030, it is expected that 30% of all commercial real estate will be dedicated to flexible workspaces. This shift is helping companies to reduce costs—by an estimated Rs3 million per employee—while also improving employee satisfaction, productivity, and sustainability.

Mark Dixon, CEO and Founder of IWG, highlighted Karachi’s strategic importance: “Karachi is a key market for us as we expand our global footprint. Businesses worldwide are realizing the benefits of hybrid work—higher efficiency, happier employees, and reduced costs. This new opening will provide top-tier workspaces tailored to the needs of Pakistan’s evolving workforce.”

IWG continues to lead the hybrid work revolution with its network of 4,000+ locations across 120+ countries, and has established itself as the preferred choice for over 83% of Fortune 500 companies.

IWG, the world leader in flexible and hybrid work solutions, offers a range of brands including Regus, Spaces, HQ, and Signature. With a global network of over 4,000 locations, IWG enables businesses to boost productivity through dynamic workspaces and digital services.
