Jazz unveils new 17-story HQ in Islamabad to accelerate Pakistan’s digital transformation

Jazz, Pakistan’s leading digital service provider, has officially inaugurated its new headquarters, Jazz World HQ, marking a significant milestone in the company’s transformation into a digital-first enterprise.

The new facility, located in Islamabad’s vibrant New Blue Area, promises to play a pivotal role in advancing Pakistan’s digital future and accelerating the country’s journey toward a fully digitized economy.

The new headquarters, which spans 17 floors and four basements, symbolizes Jazz’s growth and embodies the company’s future vision.

The unveiling of Jazz World HQ was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by senior officials from VEON, the parent company of Jazz. VEON recently relocated its headquarters from Amsterdam to Dubai as VEON has been expanding its operational hub in UAE since early 2022.

The event was attended by VEON Group CEO Kaan Terzioglu, Jazz CEO Aamir Ibrahim, VEON Chairman Augie K. Fabela II, Board members Rt Hon Sir Brandon Lewis CBE and Duncan Perry, and other key leaders from both VEON and Jazz.

“Pakistan is one of the key markets in VEON’s portfolio, and through our leadership position here, combined with our global expertise, we aim to contribute to the country’s digital transformation. This new head office underscores our commitment to supporting Pakistan’s journey toward becoming a leading digital economy in the region,” VEON Group CEO Kaan Terzioglu said at the event.

At the launch event, Jazz officials said that they were incredibly proud to unveil the Jazz World HQ, which reflects the company’s commitment to fostering a digital ecosystem in Pakistan as they continue to deliver critical digital services to millions across the country.

The new building, which overlooks the picturesque F-9 Park and the Margalla Hills, aligns with LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) standards, ensuring that it meets the highest criteria for environmental responsibility. Among the facility’s standout features is the inclusion of a VRF Inverter HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) system, designed to optimize energy consumption while improving air quality across the building. The building is also earthquake-resistant, ensuring the safety and security of its occupants.

In a statement during the inauguration, Jazz CEO Aamir Ibrahim emphasized the strategic importance of the new headquarters in realizing the company’s mission of digital transformation.

The Jazz World HQ has been designed to encourage creativity and collaboration among the company’s employees.
