COVID infections and deaths are declining in Pakistan as the mass vaccination continues.
Pakistan recorded 663 infections during the last 24 hours, making it the lowest tally in about four months.
This is the third consecutive day when the country has reported less than 30,000 active cases of the infection.
The country also reported at least 11 deaths on October 17, according to the official data by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC).
Pakistan has reported 1,019 coronavirus recoveries during the last 24 hours. The recovery rate is 95.7 percent.
In Pakistan, vaccinated 34.8 million people have been fully vaccinated while 64.9 have received one dose of the vaccine as of October 18.
Meanwhile, the health officials urged citizens to get vaccinated and stressed that the COVID-19 vaccines are completely safe and can be administered to children.
