Pakistanis are cherishing every single moment to celebrate the arrival of ICC World IX in Pakistan.

This is mainly because Pakistan has been deprived of international cricket for some eight long years.

Finally, it is good to see the stadiums all lit up, filled with flags, brimming with fans and loud cheers. It is a proud moment for Pakistani cricketers who were longing for that cheerful noise of a home crowd.

In the current series, Pakistan will face the ICC World XI for a series of three T20 internationals. The matches will be staged at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on 12th, 13th and 15th September 2017.

The first match was a momentous night for Pakistan as they won on their return to home international cricket. Babar Azam showed why he is considered the future of Pakistan batting, as his 52-ball 86 carried Pakistan to a comfortable 20-run win over the World XI in the first T20I.
