PM Imran Khan launches ‘Report Corruption’ app
Prime Minister Imran Khan has launched the country’s first anti-graft mobile application called ‘Report Corruption’ on the occasion of International Anti-Corruption Day on December 9.
The Anti-Corruption Establishment of Punjab has introduced the app to make it easier for people to report bribery and other forms of graft.
“Although Naya Pakistan is in the making, the dream will come true only when the youth participate in the process and chase the looters,” the prime minister said while addressing the launching ceremony of the app.
“We want to leave a corruption-free Pakistan for our coming generations and it was impossible without eliminating corruption” he stated.
Citing the example of China, Imran Khan said hundreds of people have been sent to jails on corruption charges in order to eradicate the menace from their country. He said in Lebanon, Chile, Iraq and other countries people took to streets against the corruption of their rulers. He said, “Nowadays it is not easy to hide corruption.” China is heading towards prosperity as it held those accountable who were involved in corruption, he said.
The premier also appreciated Punjab Anti-Corruption’s efforts in recovering government land worth Rs. 132 billion, besides another amount of Rs. 5 billion from corrupt people. He underscored the need to highlight the worst aspects of corruption in people’s lives.

The mobile application can be used to report corruption cases falling in the jurisdiction of Punjab with the facility of uploading complaints, evidence in the form of videos/images/documents.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar said government is committed to eradicate menace of corruption from the province.
He said launch of this new app is beginning of a new era. He said this application will enable the complainant to view the progress on his complain.
