Two boys killed as heavy bikes crash into traffic barrier in a horrible accident Islamabad

Two heavy bikers died in Islamabad when their bikes crashed into the cemented traffic barriers placed at Jinnah Avenue to stop religious parties rally from staging protest on Thursday night.
The two boys were identified as Arsalan Malik and Suleman Saleem – both residents of Rawalpindi.
They were coming towards Jinnah Avenue from Khayber Chowk when they collided with the huge traffic blocks near Kulsoom Plaza Chowk.
The accident occurred mainly because the guys could not control their motorcycles due to high speed. The accident was so severe that the bike caught fire. Both the youngsters riding on the heavy bike died on the spot.
Islamabad bikers highlighted the accident on social media, asking police ‘why there were no reflectors or warning sign on the road’.

Police officials, however, said that the blocks were placed recently on the road as part of security measures adopted for the federal capital. They said that since it was dark, the bikers could not see the hurdles placed on the road which resulted in the accident.
The concrete blocks can be seen at almost every major road of Islamabad, despite the installation of CCTV cameras and officials concerned declaring it a safe city.
