Uber has officially started services in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi at 11:00 am today.
“We are thrilled to announce uberGO is now available in Islamabad, connecting Pakistan’s twin cities to safe, reliable, and affordable rides”, Uber announced in their blog post.
The process is simple. Just download the Uber app and book a ride. Uber will connect you with the closest available partner driver in Islamabad or Rawalpindi, ready to pick you up in minutes. After booking the ride, you will be able to see your driver’s photo, the license plate, type of car and even follow its progress on the app as it makes its way towards you.
You can even use the ‘Share my ETA’ feature with family and friends so they know your exact route.
