Mobile vaccination service available in several Punjab cities currently
Punjab government is the first one in Pakistan to launch mobile vaccination service for the elderly and people with disabilities.
Senior citizens who are 80 years and above and people with disabilities who are 50+ years can benefit from the mobile vaccine service at home, Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid shared on Twitter.
All they need to do is register at 1033 and a team will bring the vaccination to their doorstep and administer it.
Service available in these cities:
The first-of-its-kind mobile vaccine service is currently only available in: Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, and Multan.
This is a great facility for old people especially during the scorching summer when temperatures can rise as high as 45 degree Celsius. We hope that other provinces will also follow suit and facilitate the elderly in the vaccination process.
