Spuds offer healthy options to satisfy your craving for creamy, cheesy and delicious food in Islamabad

My potato cravings got the better of me this week and I decided to finally try Spuds Islamabad – known for its premium stuffed potato.
The menu is quite unique and focused on the freshly baked potatoes with delicious variants of stuffing and dressing which comes with a side order of your choice.
The order was delivered well on time and the food was hot and nicely packed which is a usually an issue with takeout restaurants.
The vibrant food packaging and the aroma sparked my hunger pangs. But how could I just dig in without taking a photo of the lovely cover? Have a look:

Excited to try the food, I unpacked it eagerly. The food presentation was amazing for a delivery order. It looked appealing, fresh and wholesome.
We received two of their signature dishes. One was Stuffed Potatoes with creamy cheese and spinach dressing and it came with a side order of Chicken Penne Pasta.
The other was Vegano – cheesy mushrooms and olives in stuffed potatoes served with Mediterranean tomato dressing. Chicken wings and veggies complemented the dish as the side order.
I must say this it’s going to be all creamy and cheesy from here.
The spuds were so well-cooked that it just melted in my mouth. The spinach cheese sauce was absolutely delicious and well-balanced – not too salty or spicy. The dish overall was rich, creamy and delectable. The potatoes are rich in taste because they carefully select them and cooked using fine and fresh ingredients.

The side order, Chicken Penne Pasta with crunchy vegetables and black olives looked good. But I found the taste a little bland and pasta overcooked. The crisp veggies however made for it.
My favourite among all was potatoes stuffed with chicken bites, mushrooms and olives tossed in the flavoursome sauce. The seasoning was well-balanced. The green and black olives not only added colour to the dish but enhanced the overall flavour too. Just perfect for an olive lover like me. This dish offers sweet, sour and tangy taste – all in one bowl.
Chicken wings and vegetables were tempting options in the sidelines. Chicken was tender and moist and the vegetables fresh and crispy.
It is indeed a heavy plate we finished every savoury, cheesy spoonful. This nutritious plus delicious meal is a good option over fast food or our regular desi oily food.
This creamy and cheesy treat offers a generous portion at an affordable price of Rs.470 without drink and Rs.530 with drink.
Overall, the tasteful presentation, delectable food with flavoursome stuffing and surprisingly delightful side dish at such a low price, made me a fan.
After trying the food, all I can say is this: The food is potato and veggie lover’s heaven. If you are a foodie living in Islamabad then you must try Spuds Islamabad.
