Mega Motor Company (MMC), the official partner of BYD in Pakistan, has achieved a significant milestone in the country’s evolving new energy vehicle (NEV) landscape by delivering 100 Atto 2 electric vehicles to customers across Pakistan in a single day.
The coordinated nationwide delivery reflects accelerating consumer interest in electric mobility, as well as BYD’s growing footprint in Pakistan’s automotive sector.
The handovers were conducted simultaneously across multiple cities through BYD experience centers and dealership networks, underscoring the company’s expanding retail and customer engagement infrastructure.
Expanding Electric Mobility Across Urban Pakistan
The BYD Atto 2 has been positioned as an urban-focused electric vehicle, offering a cost-efficient alternative to conventional fuel-powered cars. At a time when fuel prices remain volatile, the model is designed to appeal to consumers seeking affordability without compromising on technology, design, or everyday practicality.
Industry observers note that such large-scale, synchronized deliveries are indicative of increasing market readiness for electric vehicles in Pakistan, particularly in urban centers where demand for efficient and environmentally friendly transport solutions is rising.

Growing Product Portfolio Strengthens Market Presence
In addition to the Atto 2, BYD recently launched its flagship Sealion 7 in Pakistan, with deliveries already underway. Together, these models represent a broader strategy to cater to diverse consumer segments while reinforcing BYD’s commitment to expanding its NEV portfolio in the country.
The dual rollout of vehicles across categories signals a long-term approach aimed at capturing both entry-level and premium segments of Pakistan’s emerging EV market.
Commenting on the milestone, Lei Jian, Country Head of BYD Pakistan, said: “Pakistan represents an important market in BYD’s global vision for new energy mobility. As we continue to expand our portfolio here, our focus remains on making advanced electric vehicle technology accessible to more customers while supporting the country’s transition toward cleaner and more sustainable transportation.”

Danish Khaliq, Vice President Sales & Strategy at BYD Pakistan-Mega Motor Company, added: “Reliability and customer trust are central to the BYD experience. As more BYD vehicles take to the roads across Pakistan, our priority is to ensure that customers receive not only advanced electric vehicles, but also a seamless ownership journey supported by strong service and customer care. The encouraging pace of EV adoption and the growing number of BYD vehicles already on the road reflect the increasing confidence Pakistani consumers have in electric mobility.”
Smooth Transition for Consumers
Customers receiving their vehicles also expressed satisfaction with the process. One recipient shared: “The whole process from booking to delivery was very smooth, and it feels great to finally receive the car. Getting the delivery just before Eid makes it even more special for my family. The team kept us informed throughout, and the experience at the delivery event was very well organized.”
Accelerating the Transition to Cleaner Transportation
With an increasing number of vehicles now reaching customers nationwide, BYD-MMC expects to further accelerate the adoption of electric mobility in Pakistan. The company aims to position its offerings as practical, efficient alternatives to traditional internal combustion engine vehicles, aligning with broader global and regional trends toward sustainability.
BYD Atto 2 and Sealion 7 launch in Pakistan
The latest milestone builds on an earlier development announced on January 24, 2026, in Lahore, where Mega Motor Company (MMC), in partnership with BYD, launched the BYD Sealion 7 and BYD Atto 2 in Pakistan.
The unveiling marked a key step in expanding the company’s NEV portfolio, targeting both premium and urban lifestyle segments while opening bookings nationwide.
The Sealion 7 was introduced as a high-performance premium SUV with advanced technology, long-range capability, and luxury-focused features, while the Atto 2 was positioned as a smart, cost-effective electric SUV tailored for everyday use.
Both models are built on BYD’s proprietary technologies, including the Blade Battery and e-Platform 3.0, and are supported by plans to develop a nationwide NEV charging corridor in partnership with HubcoGreen, spanning approximately 1,300 kilometers from Karachi to Peshawar.
