Markets can also operate under the SOPs laid down NCOC
Most matters of routine have been allowed after Eid by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC). However, tourism will stay closed for some time in a bid to control the spread of Covid-19 in the country.
“Ban on tourism will continue till further notice. NCOC will issue necessary instructions accordingly. #StayHomeStaySafe,” the federal body overseeing the country’s response to the pandemic, said a Twitter post on Sunday.
Markets and shops can now stay open until 8 in the evening as per pre-Eid restrictions. Inter-provincial transport has also been resumed. Offices can also carry out operations at a 50% capacity with some exceptions.
Vaccine Registrations
Anyone over the age of 30 can now register for the vaccine and can be inoculated. Thus far, 3.8 million people have been vaccinated in Pakistan. The government is providing the vaccine free of cost.
