NIC Islamabad and MassChallenge join forces to launch Startup Accelerator

In a significant boost to Pakistan’s startup ecosystem, the National Incubation Center (NIC) Islamabad has partnered with MassChallenge, one of the world’s prominent zero-equity startup accelerators, to launch its inaugural IGNITE-funded accelerator program.

This initiative aims to provide NIC graduates with vital resources, including access to global networks, expert mentorship, a comprehensive curriculum, and funding of up to PKR 5 million for their ventures.

Speaking on the launch of the program, Sayyed Ahmad Masud, Program Director at NIC Islamabad, highlighted the immense value this partnership will bring to NIC startups. “MassChallenge has a proven track record of enabling some of the most successful startups to scale globally. Through this partnership, we are creating a bridge for our startups to access international markets, world-class expertise, and the resources they need to grow exponentially,” said Masud.

For years, NIC Islamabad has played a pivotal role in nurturing entrepreneurial talent in Pakistan, offering a robust support system that includes mentoring and funding opportunities. This partnership with MassChallenge is set to enhance those efforts, providing NIC graduates with essential tools and connections to accelerate their growth in the competitive global market.
