Karachi Golf prodigies Daniah and Abiha embark on US journey with Emirates’ support

Two rising golf stars from Karachi, Syed Daniah and Syed Abiha, are set to pursue their higher education in the United States, thanks to Emirates Airlines.

The sisters, who have earned full scholarships at Blinn College-Brenham Campus in Texas, due to their impressive golfing skills, will be flying from Karachi to Houston with Emirates’ support.

The airline, known for its community involvement, is committed to helping talented youth like Daniah and Abiha achieve their dreams.

Mohammed Alhashmi, Emirates’ Vice President for Pakistan, highlighted the sisters’ achievements, saying, “These sisters have already made a significant mark on the World Amateur Golf Ranking list.” He noted that their dedication and talent have led them to represent Pakistan in tournaments worldwide, earning acclaim in countries such as Scotland, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, and Thailand.

“They were awarded for their exceptional talent and dedication to the sport. As key members of the Pakistan National Team, they have represented their country in prestigious tournaments worldwide, earning acclaim in countries such as Scotland, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Dubai, and Thailand and we are proud to be an enabler in their pursuit of education abroad,” he said.

Syed Abiha, currently playing with a handicap of 2 and a driving distance of over 240 yards, has achieved a best score of 70 (2 under) while her sister, Syed Daniah, with a handicap of 1 and a similar driving distance, boasts a best score of 69 (3 under).

With a handicap of 1, Daniah has recorded a best score of 69 (3 under), while Abiha, with a handicap of 2, boasts a best score of 70 (2 under). Both sisters are renowned for their leadership and sportsmanship, traits that have helped them excel nationally and internationally.
