The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Pakistan has officially confirmed that the much-anticipated K-Wave Festa 2026 will proceed as scheduled, following earlier uncertainty surrounding the event.
In an official notice, the Embassy stated: “Thanks to your continued interest and support, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Pakistan is pleased to announce that the 2026 K-Wave Festa will take place as scheduled on Saturday, May 2.”
Event Details and Venue
The event will be held from 3 pm to 8 pm at the SBC Lawn, Serena Hotel, Islamabad. Organizers confirmed that all arrangements remain unchanged.
Reaffirming this, the Embassy noted: “The event schedule and venue remain unchanged, and the program will proceed as originally planned.”
The festival is expected to attract a large number of attendees, featuring a mix of cultural showcases, interactive activities, and live entertainment.
New Taekwondo Experience Booth Announced
In addition to the previously planned activities, organizers have introduced a new interactive feature aimed at enhancing visitor engagement.
Highlighting the addition, the Embassy announced: “In addition, we are excited to introduce a Taekwondo Experience Booth!”
This booth will give attendees a unique opportunity to actively participate in Korean martial arts under professional guidance. The Embassy further noted: “You’ll have the chance to try Taekwondo kicking techniques taught by Pakistan’s national Taekwondo team.”
Cultural Showcase and Public Engagement
The K-Wave Festa 2026 is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen cultural ties between Pakistan and South Korea. The event is expected to feature a broad range of activities celebrating Korean heritage, contemporary culture, and global influence.
From cultural exhibitions and interactive booths to live performances, the festival aims to offer an immersive experience for attendees of all ages.
