Pakistan accuses India of carrying out terrorist activities, shares dossier with foreign diplomats

Pakistan, while alleging that India was involved in orchestrating Lahore bomb blast in June 2021, said no ‘no country had used terrorism better than India’ and urged the international community to take notice of attempts India has allegedly undertaken to destabilize Pakistan’s peace and security.

Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar, while addressing a press conference on the issue, said that India’s objective behind carrying out terrorist activities in Pakistan was to undermine Pakistan’s peace and security, adding that “no country had used terrorism better than India”.

“To play on the back of the attention of the world on terrorism and to play the victim, no country has benefitted from it better than India,” she went on to say.

Khar also called on the international community to take notice of New Delhi’s attempts to destabilize Pakistan.

“They have completely mastered the art of using international organizations for political gains… India remains the recruiter, the financier and the facilitator of various terrorist outfits and foreign terrorist fighters in the region,” Khar said.

A day earlier, the Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah had claimed that India was behind the deadly blast outside the Lashkar-e-Taiba founder Hafiz Saeed’s residence in June last year.

India’s “frustrated”

The minister believes that Pakistan being removed from the grey list of Financial Actions Taskforce (FATF) has left India “frustrated”. She reminded India that there could not be “islands of excellence in a sea of depravity.”

June 2021 blast dossier

Khar also confirmed that the Foreign Secretary Asad Majeed invited the foreign diplomats earlier on Wednesday and shared a “dossier” with them on the 2021 blast in Lahore’s Johar Town.

The minister said it took them a while to compile the dossier because the wanted to have strong hard evidence before making the case. The dossier has details on how India has found to be fully behind this particular incident, she added.

“This dossier, as you already know, has details, evidence…” she said. “We do not, unlike our neighbors, go the next day and blame one country or the other. We waited till we had strong hard evidence to be making the case we are making today,” she added.
