Pakistan sends food and medical supplies to Afghanistan via three C-130s
The Government of Pakistan has sent first of the three plane loads of humanitarian assistance comprising food and medicines for the people of Afghanistan.
Three C-130s are being dispatched to Afghanistan to urgently send aid to the neighboring country. After the first immediate tranche through air, further supplies would continue through land routes.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Afghanistan Mansoor Khan handed over the supplies to Afghan authorities on Thursday afternoon.
Pakistan would continue to do its best to help Afghan brethren during the prevalent challenging environment. Pakistan also urges the international community to play its role in helping the people of Afghanistan to avert a possible humanitarian crisis.
