Philippines invites Pakistani businessmen to Trade Expos

Rawalpindi – Ambassador of Philippines to Pakistan, Domingo D. Lucenario expressed that Philippines is keen to strengthen business ties with Pakistan in a meeting with Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry President (RCCI), Syed Asad Mashadi at the Chambers office.

The Ambassador also invited Pakistani business community to actively participate in three upcoming mega expos being held in Philippines especially Manila Food Expo and Manila Fame 2015 (Design and Lifestyle Event) which is Philippines’ premier trade show.

Ambassador of Philippines assured his utmost support to the Pakistani business community and ensured that utmost visa facilitation to the Pakistani businessmen as a policy has been drafted to offer visa facilitation process for the business community.

There is a growing demand for Pakistan leather, surgical instruments and Pakistani garments in Philippines, he said, adding that Pakistan Week would be organized soon in Philippines to display Pakistani products .

Syed Asad Mashadi, President RCCI, while assuring Pakistan’s participation in Philippines trade shows and expos, expressed his interest in organizing a ‘Made in Pakistan’ expo to introduce Pakistani products to Filipino people so as to enhance trade relations among both the countries.

Senior Vice President, Mian Humayun Pervaiz, Vice President Mr. Saboor Malik and Executive Members were also present at the occasion.
