Pakistanis relieved as Saudi Arabia approves two Chinese vaccines
Saudi Arabia has approved two Chinese COVID-19 vaccines, Sinovac and Sinopharm. The news comes as a big relief to Pakistanis who were not allowed entry into the country as KSA had only approved Western vaccines.
With the two new vaccines approved, Saudi Arabia has now six vaccines on its approved list: Sinopharm, Sinovac, Oxford-AstraZeneca, Pfizer-BioNTech, Johnson & Johnson, and Moderna.
Saudi Arabia has also eased COVID-19 restrictions for fully vaccinated residents, allowing them to directly travel to the Kingdom from countries facing a travel ban including Pakistan.
