The epicenter of the earthquake, which was 6.4 Richter scale, was Tajikistan
An earthquake originating from Tajikistan shook many parts of South Asia. The 6.4 earthquake on the Richter scale was felt in parts of KPK and Punjab as well as in Kashmir. The jolts were also felt in the neighboring parts in Afghanistan and India as well.
People came out of the houses after severe jolts that continued for a couple of minutes. The region has been affected by severe earthquakes in the last few decades.
