SI Global Solutions, a leading maritime ICT system integrator and consultancy company, has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first Pakistani company to secure membership with the International Association of Lighthouse Authorities (IALA).

To fulfill the IALA training certification requirements for Industrial Membership, SI Global Solutions sent its Director of Projects, Commander (Retd) Liaquat Ali PN, to the China MSA Aids to Navigation Training Center. Located at the Shanghai, Xiamen Jimei University, and Wenzhou campuses, the month-long course included training on the Aids to Navigation (AtoN) Model Course L1.1, a core component of IALA’s certification program.
Commander Liaquat Ali successfully completed the course, becoming the first corporate representative from Pakistan to gain IALA Certification. This achievement is a proud moment for SI Global Solutions and marks a historic first for the civilian maritime sector in Pakistan. The training included multinational students from various countries, further emphasizing the global reach of the certification process.
