Ankara’s landmark Atakule lights up in solidarity messages of Pakistan-Turkey ties on Pakistan Day
To celebrate Pakistan Dat, one of Ankara’s landmarks, Atakule Tower, was illuminated with solidarity messages of Pakistan-Turkey relations on the nights of March 22 and 23.
Pakistan’s embassy in Turkey shared the heart-warming images of the Atakule Tower lit in Pakistan flag colors on Twitter:
During the ceremony at Pakistan Embassy in Ankara on theNational Day, Ambassador Syrus Sajjad Qazi hoisted the flag after which messages of Pakistan’s president and prime minister of Pakistan were read.
Addressing the gathering, Ambassador Qazi spoke on the significance of March 23 for Pakistanis and thanked the people and government of Turkey for their love and support for Pakistan.
Bridges in Istanbul lit up in solidarity with Pakistan
The three major bridges in Istanbul on the Bosporus linking Asia with Europe were also illuminated in Pakistan flag colors on March 23, 2021.
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu also greeted Pakistanis on the occasion:
