Most people usually dread Mondays. But this Monday was a surprising one for Careem riders, especially all the book lovers in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi.

Those who booked a ride today on 16 October using the ‘BOOK’ car type found a collection of books were treated with books out of which they can take one.

For this amazing offer called “Book-a-Book”, Careem Pakistan partnered with Liberty Books.

“You can take home one book for free but you must also leave a book for the next book-worm, so that we keep the chain of book sharing going” Careem announced.

The habit of book reading is fast vanishing in Pakistan especially among youngsters who spend more time on social media. This remarkable initiate by the famous ride-hailing app Careem will help instill the interest of reading among Pakistani youths. After all, traveling while reading is one of the best ways to spend time.

  1. Book a ‘BOOK’ car type and find a collection of books.
  2. Take a book of your choice.
  3. Leave behind a book for other bookworms.
