Master Changan Motors Limited (MCML), a joint venture between Master Group of Industries and Changan Automobile, has achieved a significant milestone by producing 50,000 vehicles in Pakistan within just five years.
The achievement was commemorated at MCML’s state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Port Qasim, Karachi, marking a momentous occasion for the company.
This accomplishment makes MCML the second-fastest new entrant in Pakistan to reach this production milestone, ahead of other international automotive giants like Hyundai, MG, Peugeot, and Haval. Additionally, MCML has become the number one Chinese automaker in the country.
The company’s diverse lineup includes the Oshan X7 SUV, Alsvin sedan, Karvaan MPV, and Sherpa pickup, offering a variety of choices for Pakistani consumers across different market segments.
The milestone reflects MCML’s unwavering commitment to advancing automotive technology and providing exceptional value to Pakistani consumers. The company has built a strong presence with a network of 27 dealerships spread across 18 cities, bolstered by an efficient after-sales service and spare parts infrastructure. The ongoing efforts to localize production further enhance MCML’s commitment to raising industry standards.

MCML has also made history as Pakistan’s first automaker to export locally assembled vehicles, with the Oshan X7 leading the charge in international markets. The company is now at the forefront of Pakistan’s electric vehicle (EV) revolution, introducing Changan’s premium electric brand, Deepal, with the launch of models like the SO7 and LO7.
