As the founder of KabaFusion, a company specializing in home infusion therapies such as intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG), subcutaneous immunoglobulin, and acute home-infusion IV, Masood is known for his leadership in making healthcare more accessible. Shahid Khan

Shahid Khan, the owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars NFL team, is perhaps the most well-known Pakistani American success story. His journey from washing dishes for $1.20 an hour to becoming one of the richest men in America is the embodiment of the American Dream.

Khan immigrated to the United States in the late 1960s as a young engineering student. After years of perseverance, he transformed his auto parts business, Flex-N-Gate, into a global leader. Today, Khan’s ventures span sports, manufacturing, and entertainment, making him a symbol of grit, ambition, and triumph.

Sadaf Jaffer

Dr. Sadaf Jaffer is a scholar, policy expert, and trailblazer in American politics. With more than 15 years of public engagement, higher education, and governmental expertise, Jaffer has made history in several ways. In 2019, she became the first South Asian American woman to serve as mayor in New Jersey and the first Muslim woman mayor of a U.S. municipality. Her leadership emphasized diversity, education, and inclusion.

Before joining the New Jersey legislature, Jaffer served two terms as mayor of Montgomery Township. As an assemblywoman, she advocated for the 9.2 million residents of New Jersey, focusing particularly on her district’s 230,000 constituents. Sohaib Abbasi

Sohaib Abbasi, the former CEO of Informatica, is one of the leading figures in the technology sector with a rich background in enterprise software, product management, cloud computing, and business intelligence. His role in growing Informatica into a billion-dollar enterprise is legendary. But Abbasi’s contributions don’t stop there—he is also a noted philanthropist, giving back to educational institutions and causes that empower future generations.

Born in Lahore in 1956, Abbasi moved to the US to pursue Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He worked for a startup before joining Oracle in the 80s. Abbasi worked as the Informatica CEO from 2004 to 2015, steering the company toward nearly $1 billion in sales. Prior to Informatica, Abbasi had a 20-year career at Oracle, where he helped scale the company from a 30-person startup in 1982 to a major industry leader by 2003.

Abbasi is the currently the Vice Chairman at Elastic, a leading search company based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He also serves as the Independent Chairman of the Board at Udemy and is on the Board of Directors at Sauce Labs.


Ashar Aziz

In the field of cybersecurity, Ashar Aziz is a visionary who founded FireEye, a pioneering cybersecurity firm, in 2004. Aziz developed some of the most advanced technologies to protect businesses and governments from cyber threats.

Bapsi Sidhwa

Born in 1938 in Karachi, Bapsi Sidhwa immigrated to the United States in the 1980s. As one of the earliest Pakistani American literary voices, Sidhwa became a celebrated novelist and playwright, renowned for works such as Cracking India and The Bride.

Sidhwa’s writing tackles complex issues, including the Partition of India and gender equality, bringing Pakistani stories to the global stage. Her novels have been translated into several languages and adapted for film, reaching millions of readers worldwide.

Bapsi Sidhwa, regarded as Pakistan’s finest English-language novelist, began her literary career at Kinnaird College for Women in Lahore. Sidhwa has received numerous accolades, including the Bunting Fellowship at Radcliffe/Harvard and the Lila Wallace-Reader’s Digest Writer’s Award. She has taught at prestigious institutions such as Columbia University and the University of Houston, and two of her novels have been adapted into films. In 1991, she received the Sitara-i-Imtiaz, one of Pakistan’s highest honors, for her contributions to literature.

Zia Chishti
