Prime minister got infected two days after receiving his first shot of COVID-19 vaccine
Prime Minister Imran Khan has tested positive for the novel coronavirus, PM’s special aide on health Dr Faisal Sultan confirmed on Twitter. He added that the premier is now isolating at home.
Pakistani premier got infected two days after he received his first shot of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Khan, 68, received his COVID-19 jab in Islamabad, on March 18. He received the Sinopharm vaccine.
PM Khan has been seen frequently attending gatherings and meetings lately, including the Islamabad Security Dialogue held in Islamabad that was attended by a limited number of people.
Soon after the news broke of his diagnosis, Twitter flooded with messages from politicians, celebrities and citizens, wishing him a speedy recovery as #ImranKhan became the top trend on the social media website.
