PM Khan appreciates service of Islamabad traffic warden and announces award

Prime Minister Imran Khan praised an official of Islamabad traffic police (ITP) for his dedication to duty despite his arm injury.

Head Constable Qaiser Shakeel was invited to PM office for a meeting after his video of performing duty with an injured arm went viral on social media.

Talking to the ITP personnel, the prime minister said that his act of performing duties despite being injured was a guiding precedent for the other government servants to emulate.

He said that commitment to duty and gesture had drawn wide public appreciation and ‘such acts always boost the image of police’. PM also announced an award for the traffic constable.

Qaiser Shakeel was injured on June 9, but joined his duty after a two-day medical rest.
