PM Imran Khan launched multi-billion Islamabad Blue Area commercial project
Prime Minister Imran Khan has launched the multi-billion Islamabad Blue Area commercial project which will create job opportunities and also attract investment from overseas Pakistanis.
The premier also said that his government will also launch a “mega project in Lahore and Karachi soon”.
According to Radio Pakistan, the prime minister was briefed about the receipts of the commercial auction, which will be held from April 14-16. He was told that the funds will be used to rehabilitate the city, in the provision of services and to improve the environment.
CDA Chairman Amir Ali Ahmed and NAPHDA chairman briefed Premier Imran in detail about the mega project.
The prime minister apprised that the money generated from the commercial auction would be utilized primarily for construction of low-cost housing, provision of services and improvement of the environment.
