Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) is all set to give final touch to City Tours Bus Service to be operated in federal capital Islamabad and twin city Rawalpindi.
An official of Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation informed Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) that the acquisition of buses have already been completed and would be launched very soon for tourist facilitation within twin cities Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
He said total nine buses will be launch initially, the service will be started in Islamabad, adding that the inauguration of the service will be held at Pak-China Center, Islamabad.

PTDC official shared that the final artistic and decoration work on the tour buses is in full swing, as artist completes their decoration work these buses would be soon provide pick and drop to the tourists.
The routes for these special bused have been finalized which included most of the famous picnic and tours points of twin cities including Rawal Lake, F-9 Park, Faisal Mosque, Islamabad National Zoo, Children Park, Lok Virsa as well as Ayub National Park in Rawalpindi, while the Taxila Museum will be only visited in weekends days.
He further said Managing Director of Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) have conducted various quick meeting with associated departments. The formal requirement for the District Administration had been fulfilled and they already approved the No objection Certificate (NOC).
According to the APP, the Manager Director also met Private School Association (PSA) where representatives of the different schools and colleges appreciated the launch of the service and assured that students in large numbers will take benefits from this service, he added. He said the students of schools and colleges will realize the importance of tourism by participating in such activities. The official said both the parties agreed upon that discounted packages would be offered especially to the students.
According to the standard and facilities availability in tour buses, he said that City Tour Buses would have all facilities as per international standard. If the project is a success, the number of bus tours are expected to be increased to four days a week.
