Islamabad reported 747 cases of coronavirus in a single day
Islamabad reported 747 new coronavirus cases which is “the highest number of COVID” infections the city witnessed in a single day since the pandemic began
Islamabad Deputy Commissioner Hamza Shafqaat announced the alarming news on Twitter and asked the people to follow the health guidelines.
DC Islamabad also warned of strict action against those found violating the coronavirus rules.
Islamabad district has also announced that outdoor dining in the capital will be closed after 10pm on weekdays and will not be allowed at all during the weekends.
More than 3,400 COVID cases reported for second straight day
Pakistan has reported more than 3,400 coronavirus cases for a second day straight. On March 19, the country recorded 3,449 infections and 40 fatalities.
The country has reported a total 619,259 cases and 13,757 dead, according to official statistics.
