Direct flights from Wuhan to Islamabad launched by China Southern Airlines
China Southern Airlines has launched a direct flight from the central Chinese city of Wuhan to Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan.
The first flight operated by a Boeing 787 departed with 143 passengers on Monday, carrying 12 tonnes of goods including communication devices and medical equipment, according to a Chinese airline spokesperson.
The flight will depart from Wuhan at 8:35 am Beijing time every Monday and arrive in Islamabad at 11:45 am PST. The return flight will depart from Islamabad at 1 pm local time and arrive in Wuhan at 9:15 pm Beijing time.
Keeping in view the COVID-19 prevention measures, all passengers of direct regular commercial flights from Pakistan to China are required to complete nucleic acid tests and provide certificates with negative results. They would also have to complete a mandatory 14-day quarantine upon arrival in China.
However, passengers of direct flights from China to Pakistan simply need to register their personal details.
