The capital city is all set to host the “Islamabad Tourism Festival”, a three-day event from 5-7 March 2021.
The festival will be held at different venues including Fatima Jinnah Park in F-9, Jinnah Convention Center and Shalimar Cricket Ground.
The event will host a number of fun activities. The most exciting activities include paragliding, accuracy landing, wingsuit flying, trike flying, skydiving, and power para Gliding.
There will be other attractions on display as well including vintage cars & bike roadshows, a horse parade, corporate and educational expos, kids arena, food court, concerts, and much more.
The event is being jointly organized by Pakistan Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association (PHPA), Cutting Edge Group in collaboration with National Tourism Coordination Board (NTCB).
Such events are much needed at a time when COVID-19 is retreating and people are following SOPs in the public. It will help people feel better although SOPs should be followed. It will also boost the local tourism in the federal capital.
