Over 5,000 jobs will be created once the park is operational
The Special Technology Zones Authority (STZA) and Rapidev DMCC inked an agreement to create a state-of-the-art software park in Pakistan’s first Special Technology Zone (STZ) in Islamabad. The facility will support the entities by providing a high-tech business environment.
The park will not only create thousands of jobs but also provide an opportunity for investors to finance Pakistani companies. In recent years, Pakistani startups have attracted significant amounts of investments from overseas.
The 3 Pol (People, Purpose, Passion) Technology Park by Rapidev, will cover an area of over 650,000 sq. ft. The establishment will offer a complete ecosystem including all the necessary facilities to foster innovation. The cost of the entire facility will be $100 million. It is expected to raise a revenue of over $200 million with over 5,000 new jobs being created.
