The meeting will be held on January 4 in which the coronavirus situation will be discussed
Federal Education Minister has said that the reopening of schools will depend on the country’s health situation. The Inter-Provincial Education Ministers Conference (IPEMC) will examine the coronavirus situation in the country on January 4, 2021, and a decision will be taken based on that meeting.
“The IPEMC would meet on January 4 to review the pandemic situation in the country and make a decision about reopening of educational institutions,” Mehmood said earlier.
“Among other agenda points, the most important would be an analysis of the health situation to determine to reopen of educational institutions,” Mehmood said in a tweet.
Students having a tough time with online classes
Students are having several problems with online classes due to many factors. Firstly, the course is not designed for online teaching. At the same time, educational institutions are not appropriately equipped for conducting long term online classes. Teachers are also not trained for the software used for these classes. Last but certainly not least, students in the junior classes are finding it hard to attend long lectures sitting in front of a computer screen.
The difficulty for the parents
The online classes are also creating headaches for the parents. They need to ensure that their kids attend these classes. Simultaneously, people with multiple kids studying in school need multiple devices and high-speed internet. It is difficult for most people to afford these devices and ensure that their kids can attend all their classes.
