Pakistan cabinet decides to send aid to Palestine as Israel air raids continue
Pakistan would send aid for the people of Palestine suffering from continuous Israeli air raids and atricities.
Pakistan’s federal cabinet approved sending medical and humanitarian aid in a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan, said Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry.
The aid would help in carrying out relief efforts in Gaza and other areas of Palestine facing heavy Israeli bombardment which has killed 213 civilians, including 61 children and 36 women, and wounded more than 1500 Palestinians as of May 18, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.
Minister said that Pakistan was one of the first Islamic countries that adopted a “very clear and strong stance on Palestine”, adding that the foundation of Pakistan’s policy on Palestine was laid down by the Quaid-i-Azam and Prime Minister Imran Khan was its “trustee”.
