Sensor technology

The sensor technology and surveillance systems to be installed in the forest will help monitor the growth of trees, condition of soil and water and safeguard the forest from illegal logging activities by alerting the security team by detecting chainsaw or machine activity inside the protected area.

At least 10 million trees will be planted at the land area spread over 24,000 kanals (3170 acres). “30,000 trees have already been planted and the infrastructure work is continuing at a fast pace to complete the project within one year,” said Imran Amin, CEO of RUDA.
