NICC is a platform for intelligence coordination and cooperation for unified efforts
Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a special meeting of recently established National Intelligence Coordination Committee (NICC) at Inter-Services Intelligence Secretariat Islamabad on Wednesday.
A comprehensive briefing was held followed by discussion on enhanced intelligence cooperation.
PM Khan appreciated the ongoing efforts and expressed satisfaction over the performance of National Intelligence Coordination Committee.
The meeting was attended by Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhary and the heads of services’ intelligence agencies, Intelligence Bureau (IB) and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
The NICC, which was notified by the government on January 22, 2021, is “a platform for intelligence coordination and cooperation for unified and wholesome national intelligence assessment”.
