Pakistani automotive company Sazgar, in partnership with Great Wall Motors (GWM), has unveiled its latest electric vehicle, the GWM Ora 07, at a test drive event held at the Haval Experience dealership in Islamabad.
The Ora 07 is the fifth addition to Sazgar’s New Energy Vehicle (NEV) lineup, underscoring the company’s leadership in the eco-friendly automotive segment in Pakistan.
Expanding NEV Lineup
The GWM Ora 07 is a fully electric vehicle with an 82 KWH battery and advanced ADAS safety features.
0-100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds: The vehicle offers impressive performance, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds.
Variants: The Ora 07 is available in two versions: the AWD model priced at PKR 17.5 million and the FWD model at PKR 15.3 million, both requiring a PKR 5 million booking deposit and a delivery window of 3-4 months.
Sazgar’s NEV lineup now includes the GWM Ora 03, Ora 07, Tank 500 HEV, Jolion HEV, and H6 HEV, further solidifying its position as the leader in Pakistan’s NEV market. The company’s commitment to green transportation is also evident in its pioneering launch of Pakistan’s first electric three-wheeler.
Event highlights
The Islamabad event showcased the entire Sazgar/GWM NEV lineup, with the Ora 07 as the centerpiece. Attendees had the opportunity to test drive the Ora 07, experiencing firsthand its swift acceleration and advanced features.
The event attracted a significant audience, including prominent influencers and industry guests, highlighting the growing interest in electric vehicles in Pakistan.
Pioneering Green Transportation
Since forming a strategic partnership with GWM in 2021, Sazgar has steadily expanded its NEV offerings, playing a crucial role in promoting eco-friendly transportation in Pakistan. The company’s efforts include launching the locally-assembled Haval Jolion HEV, which started pre-booking in April and establishing manufacturing facilities for Haval SUVs in 2022.
With the introduction of the GWM Ora 07, Sazgar continues to lead the charge in the NEV segment, offering cutting-edge vehicles that cater to the growing demand for sustainable transportation solutions in Pakistan.
