Special Ramadan campaign to encourage EV Adoption

In a move that combines social responsibility with innovation, inDrive and YDC have launched a special joint campaign during the holy month of Ramadan. From March 19 to 25, 2025, passengers in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad can win free rides in Honri EVs when booking through the inDrive app.

This campaign is aimed at introducing eco-friendly transportation to the wider public, allowing commuters to experience the smooth drive, comfort, and environmental benefits of EVs—completely free of charge.

“Ramadan is a time of blessings, generosity, and giving back,” said Shaikh Saud Zia, Senior Marketing Manager at Yousuf Dewan Companies. “At Dewan, we believe in making a meaningful impact, which is why we’ve partnered with inDrive to offer free rides in Honri VE—Pakistan’s first locally assembled electric vehicle. This initiative highlights our commitment to reducing carbon emissions and fuel dependence, making electric mobility more accessible to everyone in Pakistan.”

A Step toward Sustainable Urban Mobility

This partnership represents a pivotal moment in the country’s evolving electric vehicle landscape. By integrating Honri EVs into inDrive’s fleet, both companies are actively contributing to the nation’s transition toward cleaner energy solutions. This collaboration not only helps reduce reliance on fossil fuels but also positions electric mobility as a key solution for the future of urban transportation in Pakistan.

“At inDrive, we believe in driving positive change through innovative and impactful initiatives,” said Muhammad Awais, Country Lead of inDrive Pakistan.

“This campaign is a testament to our commitment to providing accessible and sustainable mobility solutions. By adopting Honri’s electric vehicles in inDrive’s fleet, we are not only giving passengers a first-hand experience of EV technology but also supporting Pakistan’s transition towards a cleaner, greener future. We look forward to expanding this collaboration and creating more opportunities for drivers and passengers to benefit from eco-friendly transportation.”

Looking ahead, the partnership is set to extend beyond Ramadan. Future plans include offering rental options for drivers through fleet partners, making electric vehicles more accessible to a wider range of drivers. This initiative will allow drivers to lower their operational expenses, increase their earnings, and contribute to a greener, more sustainable urban environment.

The collaboration between inDrive and YDC signals the beginning of a larger movement to embrace sustainable transportation solutions, marking a crucial step in Pakistan’s journey toward a more environmentally responsible future.
