Pakistan Navy’s helicopter crashed in Gwadar, Balochistan province of Pakistan, on September 4, killing at least three Navy personnel.
Two navy officers and a soldier were on board the flight that crashed in Balochistan, Pakistani Navy spokesperson said.
“The helicopter crashed during the flight due to a possible technical fault,” the spokesperson said, adding: “As a result of the accident, two officers and one jawan (soldier) of the Pakistan Navy lost their lives.”
Pakistan Navy’s Sea King helicopter crashed during a routine training flight in Gwadar, a coastal city in southwestern Balochistan province.
Pakistan Navy has ordered an inquiry into the accident.
Condolences pour in
Pakistan’s Interim Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar expressed grief over the loss of lives in the helicopter crash, state media said.
President Arif Alvi mourned the loss of precious lives in the helicopter crash and sentprayers for the departed souls.
